Based out of Karur district, Tamil Nadu, Prolgae is the outcome of aeronautical engineer turned entrepreneur Aakas’ business dreams. Recounting the inception story of the firm, Aakas shares, “First of all, I want to extend my gratitude towards my parents who encouraged, supported and worked with me in my farm. It was early
2016, when we got in touch with our foreign investors from Finland who was equally interested in the domain. After a number of brainstorming sessions, fruitful discussions and negotiations with the Finnish/Indian lawyers, today we have reached a point where we are not just happily established but are also celebrating our collaboration as Prolgae – which is our own abbreviation from ‘Protein and Algae.” At present, Prolgae Spirulina Supplies is expanding across Europe and other parts of the world and exploring more markets ata quicker pace.

With a strong team comprising professionals like Mrs. Mrinalini, lawyer; Mrs.Deepa, R&D Head; Mr. Cibiraaj B, Operating Officer; Ms. Prerna Ajmani, Marketing Officer and Mr. Shiva, Consultant, Prolgae Supplies has successfully bagged recognitions like Joining National Algae Association, USA and Europe Algae Biomass Association.
