Vivek Modi, Rishi Raj & Nehal Karia Modi,Co-Founders Yellow Bulbs was born out of the co-founders’ cumulative experiences during their corporate jobs. Vivek Modi, an ex- marketing manager for a large telecom company, during his service strongly felt that despite the advancements in the search engines and phone services available many times one ended up making the wrong marketing partner choices. Even with the world’s best agency by his side, there were times he required fresh ideas, faster turnaround and smarter costs. With time, he switched jobs but this thought still lingered in his mind.

Cut to 2014, Vivek's wife - Nehal Karia Modi, a chartered accountant was looking to start a new business and Vivek encouraged her to attempt to fill in the gap and suggested to do a pilot. As time progressed, he promised to join her full time if she managed to get at least ten paying clients in the first year. Excited Nehal in a little more than a year showed impressive results and Vivek quit his job as the Regional Director for Radio Mirchi & joined Yellow Bulbs.com in November 2015 as the Co-Founder & CEO. Thus, began the journey of a tech enabled platform for marketing.
Nehal asserts,"It just seemed the right thing to do. Taking huge risks of starting some thing fresh, quitting two very highly successful corporate careers, our passion and the industry experience helped us take the right decisions."

Yellow Bulbs’ journey over the years has been defined by small successes and big setbacks. But in June 2016, the company decided to go beyond their bootstrapped limits and launched the fully ready product. Yellow Bulbs has recently touched their first milestone of sales of INR 2 Cr on the platform and they have fine-tuned the model further. At present the company is focused on reaching INR 5 Cr worth of service offerings focussed on fewer industries but across SMEs and Corporates.
